Villa Papas offers great value accommodation on the beautiful island of Skiathos in Greece. Our apartments are conveniently located half-way on the island's main road, making it a perfect base to explore all Skiathos has to offer. Villa Papas offers a mix of 6 mezzanine apartments sleeping up to 5 people and 4 standard apartments sleeping up to 3 people. The apartments can be booked from the 1st of May to the 31st of October, enquiries can be made online.

Villa Papas is run and owned by us, the Papas family. Our apartments have become firm favourites with regular visitors to Skiathos. We, Christos and Martha together with our son Vasilis, will try and make you feel at home to the best of our abilities for a holiday you will never forget.

You are never far away from a cold drink, snack or even a full meal. We have a great pool with sunbeds, which is always attended for your safety. The poolside bar and taverna are open all day and most of the evening, for you nightowls we have to warn that Vasilis makes a mean cocktail.

Skiathos a is a little gem in a quiet corner of the Agean sea and the main island of the Sporades group of islands only 3 nautical miles from the main land and Volos, one of the major Greek cities. It's golden sandy beaches, deep green mountains, historical background and monuments all contribute to making Skiathos one of the most beautiful islands in Greece. It is the diversity and changes in landscape that holds the interest of the visitors up to the very last moment and many will return once fallen in love with Skiathos.

The total area of the island is around 80 square kilometres with a coastline of 44 kilometres, which is as long as the main road connecting Skiathos Town with Koukounaries on the other side of the island. Skiathos Town is the only town on the island and hosts the biggest part of the local population, which is around 4000. Tourism is the main source of income although there is still some agriculture and fishing going on.

In the town you will experience a cosmopolitan atmosphere surrounded by numerous restaurants (Greek and continental), cafes, bars and nightclubs. Strolling through the paved alleyways of the town you will encounter dozens of churches and traditional houses with smalll courtyard gardens. Perhaps this stroll will take you to the house of Papadiamandis who was born, lived and worked on Skiathos, writing his short stories, which made him famous all over the world.

Sixty-eight beaches can be found on Skiathos satisfying even the most demanding of tastes. The water on most beaches is shallow making them great for families with small children and some of them even rank among the most beautiful in Greece if not in the world. Vromolimnos and Kolios are just two of these beautiful beaches and are within walking distance of Villa Papas.
